James Ho was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and has lived in Vancouver, Canada, since arriving as a student in 1972. A Canadian citizen since 1977, he is a prominent businessperson and broadcaster known for his longstanding contributions to multiculturalism and the well-being of Vancouver’s ethnic communities. As the founder of CHMB AM1320, James has been a pioneer in cross-cultural broadcasting. He currently serves on the advisory council on diversity for the Canadian Armed Forces Joint Task Force (Pacific) and has held leadership or advisory roles with the Vancouver Aquarium, SUCCESS, Simon Fraser University, the Vancouver Police Department, RCMP, and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce. James is currently an Honorary Colonel of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), 418 Search and Rescue Operational Training Squadron, Comox / 19 Wing.RCAF / Canadian Arm Forces.

The Honourable Victor Oh is a former senator, entrepreneur, and community leader, born in Singapore and immigrated to Canada in the early 1970s. Appointed to the Senate of Canada in 2013 to represent Ontario, he is recognized for his commitment to multiculturalism, immigration advocacy, and strengthening Canada–Asia relations. Before his Senate appointment, he was a successful businessperson and founding president of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association.

David joined the Alberta law firm of Parlee McLaws LLP as a lawyer in 1990 and has been a partner since 1999. Since his call to the Bar, he has focused his practice on securities transactions and has developed valuable experience in numerous securities and corporate transactions. He has represented both issuers and agents for a number of public offerings, private placements and regulatory compliance matters for issuers listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. David currently works with a number of real estate companies, oil and gas companies, mining and resource companies and technology companies involved in high technology, biotechnology and advanced materials, guiding them from the formative stages through various private placements and eventually to initial public offerings. David is also a graduate of the Canadian Securities Course.

Yuen Pau Woo

The Honourable Yuen Pau Woo was born in Malaysia and immigrated to Canada in 1988. He has worked on public policy issues for nearly 40 years, with a focus on international trade and investment, foreign policy, and Canada-Asia relations. From 2006-2015, he was President of the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada.
